Human Resources Generalist
Country Ribbon Inc. is an integrated chicken production and processing company that markets products under the Country Ribbon, Pine Hill and other private label brands. Country Ribbon Inc. operates a livestock feed mill, production complex and processing plant in the St. John’s area.
We are accepting applications for the position of HR Generalist. Under the direction of our Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and administration of human resource policies and initiatives within the Company. Other duties include scheduling employees in our processing plant, managing staffing requirements, recruitment and orientation of new employees, coordinating employee leaves, facilitating effective employee and labour relations. You will also provide leadership and advice to management on human resource related issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three-year’s experience in human resource management, preferably in a unionized environment. Exceptional communication, organizational and people skills are prerequisites. Proficiency in computer software applications is essential. Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree specializing in Human Resources with a CPHR designation. Other equivalent combinations of education and work experience may also be considered.
